Hi There, I’m Shelby!
I'm the girl behind the camera! First off, the photo below makes me look A LOT cooler than I actually am. I thought I should be up front about that. Secondly, I shot my first wedding when I was 16, and 11 years later I am over the moon that I am able to do what makes me the happiest professionally.
When I'm not holding a camera (the blisters are REAL people), you can find me planning my next adventure with my husband or on another hike with our dogs. If you're thinking about bringing your dog on our session, my answer will always be "YES!" Bring all the dogs. Always.
My husband and I are updating our first home together and I spend A LOT of time at TJ Maxx, Homegoods, local boutiques and Lowe's (the last being the least exciting place ever). I've also seen 'The Office' all the way through at least 8 times and I can't decide if I'm proud or bummed by that. I love podcasts and do my best to SSDGM. If you got that acronym, we're automatically best friends. I'm also a Ravenclaw, a history buff, an enneagram 7, and if you ask my husband-- the owner of far too many shoes. I'm located near the Pittsburgh Airport and my love for local coffee shops knows no bounds.
My Philosophy
As a photographer, I want to capture people and their stories. I want you to look like you and feel like your truest self. I’m here for whatever you need, whether it’s making you laugh and look natural during your photos, helping to reapply some makeup, or just doing whatever I can to get the shot!
My ultimate goal is for your loved ones to look back at your portraits and say, "That's exactly how I remember that day."
